Drying & Towels

The safest method is to lay the drying towel completely flat on the surface and then gently pull it toward you by the corners, without applying pressure to the paint. Thanks to the enormous absorbency of professional drying towels, this light touch is already enough to get the paint bone dry. Always work from top to bottom: start with the roof and hood, and finish with the lower parts of the car closest to the road.

Wheels and door jambs (the inner edges of the doors) often still contain traces of sharp brake dust, grease and lubricants, even after a thorough wash. If you use your large drying towel here, it gets contaminated with grease and hard particles that you'll then smear over your clean paint next time. That's why you should always use our dedicated Wheel Drying Towel (1200 GSM) for your wheels, and keep shorter-pile all-round microfiber towels for the door jambs, to keep your paint towels 100% pure.

Because large drying towels can hold an enormous amount of water and residue, proper care is crucial. Wash the towels at a maximum of 40°C with a dedicated liquid microfiber detergent. Never use fabric softener; it leaves behind a greasy film that clogs the fibers, causing the towel to lose its absorbency. After washing, give the towels a good firm shake to reopen the fibers, and air-dry them (not in the dryer) for the longest lifespan.
